Holiday Club

Our holiday sessions operate from 8am until 6pm throught most holiday periods.

Opening Times

During holidays we operate from 8am – 6pm. The club opens almost all holiday days during the year. We currently close for two weeks at Christmas and the first two days of the Dundee holiday fortnight.

Children can arrive the club at anytime however all children must be signed in and out by a responsible person over the age of 16.

Holiday Programmes

A structured programme of activities also takes place during holiday periods. The programme is made available approximately 4 weeks prior to the holiday period beginning with an activity for the morning and afternoon.

We will also go on local visits/outings and full or part day trips further afield during the summer holidays.

Play

Throughout the session children are offered a balance of play types and both structured/non-structured activities. These include role play, construction, games & puzzles, reading, drawing, TV, quiet area and ICT.

Children will also have the opportunity to play outside and can utilise the garden, soft top, play equipment, MUGA pitch and grass with the gym hall also available to use.

Breakfast, Lunch and Snacks

Children will be offered breakfast from when they come in until approximately 9am. A wide choice is offered including toast, cereal, bagels, pancakes, yoghurts and fruit.

Snack will be served once in the morning and again in the afternoon. Snack varies daily and where possible a choice is provided to ensure children can have something they like. Examples of snacks we provide are: crackers & cheese, biscuits, pancake, crisps and rice cakes. We cater for children who have special dietary requirements.

Children require to bring with them a packed lunch and we ask that everything your child has is ready to eat and that they have everything they need, e.g., a drink and a spoon for yoghurt. It would also be helpful to have an ice pack included within the lunchbox to help maintain a cold temperature.

Children are offered a choice of juice, milk or water with snack and have access to water throughout the session.
